Colonial nursing home is disgusting it's very dirty it stinks of urine, I was there for 5 days my room got cleaned once. My wife went into the bathroom and found out I was sharing this bathroom with the room next to me, there was feces on the floor on the toilet seat there were bed pans piled up under the sink on the floor they were wet inside. My wife called the front desk and complained about the bathroom, a staff member came to my room and my wife showed him what the bathroom look like his exact words were all the rooms in this building are in the same shape. He cleaned up the bathroom the best he could and said I'm sorry this happened and I will make sure that it gets cleaned again tomorrow. They seem to be short on staff every day you can press a button get a nurse to come in and see you but sometimes it's 45 minutes to an hour before they come in. I was there for physical therapy in 5 days I never received physical therapy once. The food is terrible when you finally get it it's cold no taste to it and I didn't eat one meal they brought me my family brought me food from home. The staff I would rate one star, most of them not all of them stood around talking to each other about their daily lives and and we're very loud and inconsiderate to the patients. The rooms we're not nice at all no chairs for family to sit in and the TV was so small I'm guessing maybe 15 in and placed on a wall so high that you had to look straight up to watch programs. I can't speak for the other residents but I know I wasn't very happy with the situation I was in and it seemed like the residents were arguing all the time with staff over everything. I wouldn't rate this nursing home with a one star zero Stars would be better.
