Regla Coffini on 01 Dec 2024 :
Worse place ever. Coming from someone in the health care field as a nurse practitioner the fact that I had to AMA my dad because he was starving. Not only him but other patient are asking if they can get food it’s a disgrace to have this place open and even allow half or all of these people to hold a nursing license. The “charge nurse” bukenenye Barbara ukeneye spoke to me as if she didn’t have any manners or work ethic. She made a choice of instead providing me with the proper AMA documentation to waste 23 minutes of her screaming at me in front of my husband my toddler my teenager son and my father. Today is thanksgiving but I will be reporting that nurse to the board. I will be putting a full compliant to CMS and ACHA. I not just recorded the place with roaches and how they have some resident on the floor and how patient in room 12 is asking for food I also recorded the “nurse” and have it fully available to show. instead of diffusing the situation she continued to antagonize me because my father was crying that they were starving him. When I asked this nurse for her license number she stated she didn’t have to give me that information. We gave my dad $50 the first day he was in there and somehow it got lost. Somehow this same nurse gives me only “$20” that they had from my dad. We provide clothes and when they took the clothes to wash the ones they brought back didn't belong to my dad. This place shouldn’t be open and from the argument I had with the charge nurse they shouldn’t even work with patients. I will be taking this complaint all the way to the top because it’s a disgrace that this place is so crappy and patient insurance are paying for them to get starve treated bad and be little. Not to mention when dealing with a patient that does not speak the language that the facilities speak there should be a correct Interpreter it be over the phone computer or in person. They do not provide this my dad is a Spanish speaking patient who didn’t understand and none of the nurses spoke Spanish or offered a interpreter and one of the nurses excuse was “there is a language barrier” well obviously there is as a responsibility for the facility to offer what the patient needed to understand his own care.
