My 89 year old father's health and functioning deteriorated markedly during the month he spend at South Hills. The conditions were so unacceptable I can't bring myself to refer to it as a center for rehabilitation and wellness. The facility was dirty. The staff congregated around the nurses' station and didn't engage with the residents except to provide meds and meals. They generally ignored my father's requests for help to use the bathroom. He was given a shave and a shower only after we requested it, and there was no one available to cut his hair or clean and cut his nails. When we transferred my dad to another facility, he left South Hills with 2 bedsores and infected wounds on both of his heels. If I could give it fewer than 1 star, I would.
