We currently have our disabled son at this facility, our son admitted in June 2021. Ever since his admit, we have been thoroughly impressed and well pleased with the stellar care and attention to the details we have experienced, namely our son and his pleasure of being there. The Administrator is highly engaged in all aspects of the facility and sets high expectations and accountability with all staff associates. The facility is extremely clean from front to back, no foul odors, soiled linens not left in the hallways, friendly staff from entry to leaving out. The Director of Nurses, Asst. Director and Unit Manager, are on top of every aspect involving their patients and leave nothing unnoticed or undone. The facility N.P. is awesome and truly cares about her patients and tends to their needs as well as implementing any needed changes when necessary, without delay. The Nurses and CNA's are incredible! They love their patients and treat them as though the patient was one of their family members. They work long hours and many times in this industry, they don't make the money equal to what they do, but do it anyhow and with a passion as well as compassion. There's never a dull moment because the incredible activities Director and her staff, always have functions and activities, usually twice everyday. Having our child go into a nursing facility has been by far, the hardest decision we've ever had to make. Both of us at 65yrs. of age, realized we could no longer provide our son, with the great care and attention he well deserves and needs. When we began our thorough research and visiting multiple facilities, we knew that the assembled, well trained and caring staff at Westmoreland was the best place other than home, for our precious angel child. We know when it's our time and pass on to heaven, we know our son is in the best place for his life long continued needs, love, care and attention, "we trust them." The facility recently was purchased by a caring about people company and a new staff brought in and has made a world of positive difference. They only strive to get better everyday and reach for perfection. Like most facilities, the food is not bad, could it be better, possibly but no complaints from our son. The Kitchen Manager, Nutritionist and Dietitian is accessible and open to suggestions and preferences. All the staff puts their hearts into what they do, other wise, they're not there long. In spite of other reviews, these are our objective reviews and would "NEVER" have a reason to leave our child who is our breath and heartbeat, in anything less than stated. We wholeheartedly and 100% highly recommend this facility to your loved one or even you. We know without hesitation, we would reside here if we ever have to. 5 STARS-*****
